Eat your way around Athens with a local foodie who will show you all the local hot spots on this walking tour. Visit the vibrant Athens Central Food Markets and sample traditional Greek food like pies, olives, olive oil, honey, cheese, meats, sesame bread, and street food.
Meet your guide and take your taste buds on an adventure. Learn about Greek cuisine and culture. Listen as your guide tells you about the eating habits of modern Athenians and about the everyday life in the city.

Make your first shop at a local place that serves traditional Greek pies. Enjoy flaky feta pie, bougatsa (custard pie), and lukumades (Greek donuts). Continue to the Athens Central Food Markets to admire the wares and take in the vibe. Have a cup of Greek coffee, unique Greek cheeses, and cold cuts.

Visit one of the oldest bakeries in town for some fresh koulouri (Greek sesame bread). Taste some different varieties of honey, traditional drinks, and some extra virgin olive oil. Learn what makes an olive oil extra virgin and how to recognize the high quality oils.
